36 Hours in Strasbourg, France
Driving from Switzerland and stopping in Colmar for a few hours, we landed in Strasbourg for two nights- 36 hours of exploring France’s eighth largest city and one of the de facto capitals of the European Union. Here are the highlights.
Eat:
- Chicken tikka masala at Tamil Restaurant, a top-rated Indian restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating.
- Cordon bleu with creamy mushroom sauce at Le Männele, a popular restaurant with an outdoor patio.
Drink:

Do:
- Climb 330 stairs up and down the tower of Cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-Strasbourg, a 13th century cathedral once the world’s tallest building.
- Play at Playground Square des Moulins, a playground along the canal.
- Take your kids to Le Vaisseau, an interactive science center.
- Wander near Cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-Strasbourg and find narrow, winding alleys and side streets.
